Well, it has been so long since i have used this blog to talk all about Japan. So here we go!
Well, at the moment i am sitting here and should be doing chemistry homework as i only have a few days to get it done, however, this blog takes priority for the moment. Tomorrow i am going away to Robe with my family and my cousins! I can't wait, we're going to have so much fun! We get back on the sunday night and then the next day, Erika, our exchange student arrives! I didn't think this moment would come either, when my teacher came up to me so long ago and asked us if we would host a student and we said yes, i for some reason didn't think it would happen, but here it is, time is really flying.
So, when Erika arrives we have a few days left of holidays, and then it's back to school. I am sleeping in the campervan and Erika will have my room, that is a great act of kindness i believe! Nah, i don't mind, i will enjoy spending time in the campervan.
Between all this, i will be sleeping and working, and going online!

Blues
Your mind is a mess.
Questions, interrogations from the ones you can't bear to look at. You smile politely, that is the polite thing to do.
On the inside the storm rages, sending your life plummeting into the depths of a ferocious, murky ocean.
Strength. It holds out until you see the one. Those simple words, the ones that you try and deny bring you undone faster than you were done up.
Are you OK?
The storm spills out from the inside, soaking reality in the tears and sadness of the treacherous seas within. Constricting your throat with it's movements, it crashes out, pulling you down with the truth.
It hurts.

New Year
Ok, here i go and am going to say it, well rather, write it.
THIS year i am going to Japan!
How exciting and closer does that sound? I know, it is crazy! I am so excited but i have so much work to catch up on that it isn't that funny. Also, i have the chance to get my Driver's Licence on the 25th of January but i have to drive more hours.. a lot more hours and i have to have my lessons. I have to get it before Japan, that is my aim.
I just got back from the river yesterday which was great fun. I polished up on my skiing skills and learnt to wakeskate aswell as going for a few wakeboards, double skis, kneeboards and a biscuit with Rachael that i'll never forget.
This year will be the biggest year of my life i reckon. It is amazing that I am actually going to Japan. I hear so many older people who are married, with kids, have their own house etc and they always say 'oh i wish i'd done that, oh i wish i'd gone there'. That won't be me. I don't want that to be me and i aim to never miss an opportunity. Obviously you can't take part in every event that occurs but we need to learn how to sort out those events into priorities so the things that really matter get done.
