Weekend

Well, this is going to be in dot-point form to make the most of my time:

Thursday

-Mel posts blog.
-Stays in bed all day, feels better and better.
-Runny nose, all the rest but still, maybe she can go to school on Friday?

Friday

-True Melissa style she doesn`t want to miss school, so pushes on and attends.
-Feels homesick, feels stomach sick, feels coldsick and most of all, has a headache.
-After lunch, headache is pushed to the limits, lip starts to quiver, finds Yumi Sensei.
-Yumi Sensei sends her to the hospital room, in bed, cream hospital curtains, Mel sleeps.
-Apparently has a fever, so she isn`t allowed to ride home on bike.
-Host mum picks up Melissa and gets her home.
-Melissa makes it up the stairs and then collapses on her bed crying.

Friday Night

-Host mum decides she wants Melissa better, fast.
-Takes Melissa to `The Hospital` which is in actual fact more of doctor`s place.
-Doctor speaks English, bless the doctor.
-Collects numerous amounts of pills, doctor`s certificates etc.
-Mel gets to experience Japan`s health system ( I said i wanted to really experience Japan...)

Saturday

- Pills are taking their toll, now she can smile and doesn`t even have a headache.
- Has nice day at home with family.
- Gets to go to a concert which was absolutely amazing.
- Comes home with headache but nevermind, it was worth it.

Sunday

- Continues taking the pills (sounds like I`m a drug addict haha)
- Finally finds an ATM that takes her card.
-Cleans up room and does homework, get`s all organized.
- Once organises, feels good.

Monday

- Goes to school.
- Weather is a little warmer.
- Comes home in good condition.
- Finally i am better, officially.

Well there you go a run down of the random things i have been doing lately, of course so much more to it but time is precious ladies and gentlemen! Love your comments, thankyou so much xx

Make the best out of your time Mel. I sure would do so...

Wow you have been through so much the last few days! And I have hardly done anything, at least that's what it feels like...
I'm glad the concert was good and that you liked it!

And Melissa, my lovely, thank you so much for your happy birthday email, even if I read it the day after my actual birthday it made me so happy, it was very sweet of you!

Just remember I am thinking about you, and I truly wish you to have an amazing experience worth remembering.

Miss you, Love you,
Emelie xoxox

Haha, they were hilarious comments, Michel in a nurse uniform, dad and.. yeah just dad and lovely emelie. Thanks guys haha.

Dad, was that you the anonymous commenter talking about my report? I didn`t think i was going to get a report.. as if i even managed A`s let alone an actual report, i thought it was steph saying she got all As haha.

Just had english class. Yumi Sensei made me spell the world `Urine` and then i had to say it and have everyone repeat after me and then when they worked out what they were saying... well let`s just say i am not surprised when you say you heard their screams and squeels from Australia. (or sweden or anywhere else...)Japanese girls are quite high-pitched and noisey!

Thankyou once again! I love your comments and dad congrats on the bike, now can i go on the back of the bike! Seeing that you would notlet me go with any of the other guys that ride haha.

じゃね!

ah, Japanese hospitals. I won't share my experience with them. Are you sure those A's didn't stand for 'absent'? hee hee. よくがんばったね。When I was reading about you being sick with Yumi sensei's help, it reminded me of me and Erika in a similar situation. Tomorrow night I am going over to the Japanese teacher from Pulteney's house to watch the Biggest Loser finale. Mr Emswiler's wife had another boy the other day and they have named him Nathan. Oh well, while it may be holidays I still have to work (hope all you TAT people are reading this). You have more holidays coming up next week ね。3 public holidays!! It is called Golden Week and is usually the time when the Japanese travel overseas and yep, the prices of accommodation on the Gold Coast miraculously go up for that same week. So do you want a quick lesson as to why you are having holidays: April 29th is Greenery Day (it used to be the former Emperor's birthday and when he died they decided to keep the public holiday but changed it to Greenery Day - you can celebrate Emerald!!), May 3rd is Constitution Day and of course May 5th is Children's Day (lots of carp flying on poles outside homes). No charge for that informaiton. Anzac Day here today but I would be careful explaining that over there. おだいじに!!
